Utility rates in Ukraine six times higher than those in the DPR
Utility rates in Ukraine are almost six times higher than those set for residents of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This is evidenced by the data of the comparative table published today by the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the DPR.
"The DPR Construction Ministry Economists compared the indexes of the utility rates in the Donetsk People's Republic with those of other countries," noted the representative of the Ministry.
In particular, the table compares the utility rates in Germany, the USA, Belarus, Russia, the DPR and in Ukraine. Calculations are indicated in dollars per person.
According to the comparative analysis, taking into account the average salary in Ukraine, which is 285 dollars, the average cost for housing and utility services is 80 dollars.
At the same time, on the territory of the Republic one resident with the average salary of $170 pays $14 for services.
