West refuses all attempts to investigate Idlib gas attack - Assad
US and other Western countries block all attempts to investigate the Idlib gas attack, said Syrian President Bashar al-Assad interview with RIA Novosti news agency.
He recalled that after the first attack, 2013, in Aleppo - Damascus appealed to the UN to send experts to the area in order to investigate and "prove that the terrorists used gas against our army."
"And after that there were many similar cases, but the UN has not sent any delegation to Syria. The same thing is happening now, "- he said.
"After all, if the experts came, they would find that all of their stories about what happened in Khan Shaykhun and their attack on the Shayrat airbase, were fabricated. That is why they are one and and will not send any such party."
The only communication, as far as I understand, is contact between Russia and a couple of other countries, who are attempting to organize an expert delegation.
"There have not been any news on whether they are planning to come or not" - said the Syrian president.
