In Kiev, the presentation of the first issue of the comic book "Guardians of the Country" dedicated to superheroes, who are trying to return the Crimea to Ukraine, took place.

"The novel tells about the heroes of our modern Ukraine who live next to us, whom we see, with whom we are familiar, who defend our Motherland in the ATO. The comic has superheroes, representatives of Kiev, Dnipro, Donetsk and, of course, the Crimean peninsula," Igor Rogovoy, the author of the texts, told at the briefing.

According to him, the action of the comic unfolds in the Russian Crimea, where the superheroes Kiy, Shchek, Horiv and Lybid are fighting for some artefacts.

"Their task is to ensure that those artifacts that are on the territory of the Crimean peninsula do not enter the territory of the hostile state," Rogovoy said. First Deputy Minister of Information Policy Emine Dzheparova, in turn, added that the prototype of one of the characters was the authorized representative of the President of Ukraine on Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhamilev, leader of the extremist organization "Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people" banned in Russia.

Dzheparova also said that the comics will be sent to the Ukrainian soldiers in the Donbass. "If we find the means to translate these comics, they will go to foreign countries, they will be distributed in the expert community," she added.
