International human rights organization Amnesty International has accused the American coalition of terrible crimes against the civilian population of Syria.

This is stated in the statement of AI, received by the editors of "Russian Spring".

Amnesty International conducted a field investigation in the ruined city. The US-led coalition has released a huge amount of inaccurate ammunition, bombarding areas inhabited by civilians.

Even the high-precision bombs of the American Coalition caused terrible civilian casualties. Hundreds of citizens were killed, and then the ISIS terrorists were allowed to leave Raqqa.

From the ruins of Raqqa civilians ask why their city was destroyed by US coalition forces, hundreds of children and adults were killed in the process of “liberating” them from armed gangs calling themselves ISIS, according to a new report by Amnesty International, published before the anniversary of the end of the Battle of Raqqa.

Amnesty International researchers visited 42 places in the destroyed city, where the American coalition was attacked, and they also interviewed 112 civilians who survived the carnage and lost loved ones.

“For many months, Amnesty International investigated the deaths of civilians and the destruction of many civilian facilities in Raqqa, as a result of coalition air strikes led by the US Anna Neistat, the senior director of the research organization, also just returned from Raqqa and is ready to give an interview to Russian journalists,” told Amnesty International.

“American aviation and the artillery supported by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDS / SDF) have virtually wiped out the“ capital ”of the so-called ISIL * Raqqu,” the new general secretary of Amnesty International, Kumi Naidoo, concluded formations of pro-American forces of the Syrian opposition.

“What I saw in Rakka shocked me to the depths of my soul. The city turned into a skeleton, houses with only walls left, barely flowing water and electricity, the smell of death still hanging in the air. The fact that someone can still live there simply does not fit into human logic,” he said.

“The attacks of the US-led coalition not only killed hundreds of civilians, but also forced tens of thousands of people to flee the city, now they are returning to ruins, but thousands more are languishing in refugee camps,”  Naidu explained.

“American, British and French coalition forces launched tens of thousands of air strikes, and American troops confessed that they had fired 30,000 shells during the attack on Rakka. The US Army is responsible for more than 90% of the air strikes, ”the AI said in its statement.
