OSCE confirms indiscriminate artillery usage in Slavyansk

OSCE confirms the use of indiscriminate heavy weapons in Slavyansk, spokesman for the special OSCE monitoring mission in Ukraine Michael Botsyurkiv reported. (Curiously, the press secretary of the mission is a man with the last name very similar to Ukrainian).

«In Slavyansk we saw a large amount of physical evidence of artillery and mortar fire, in some cases, in homes, so it gives us evidence of indiscriminate shelling,» —said Botsyurkiv at a press conference on Wednesday.

Earlier, Russia’s permanent representative at the organization Andrei Kelin said that Kiev, in an attempt to hide the truth about what is happening in eastern Ukraine, interfered with the work of the special OSCE monitoring mission.
