Ukrainian army units are fortifying their positions at the isthmus Chongar — the Crimean section of the border with Russia

The work is in full progress: Ukrainians are digging trenches day and night. Earlier they had just few fire spots here, fortified with small trenches and sandbags. Now one can see complete trenches, in continuous lines of 100–200 meters, one after another.

From Chongar to the Ukrainian territory, there are at least 4 lines of trenches. Also were noticed about 5 disguised infantry fighting vehicles and at least two T-64. This is what is can be observed in the narrow stretch which goes from the checkpoint «Chongar» and stretches far in the direction of the railway stations Siwash and Novoalekseevka.

Moreover, station Siwash itself has been turned into a stronghold, the buildings' walls have been fortified with sandbags, the neighboring territories are also prepared for defense.
