« The junta-sent fascists destroyed our well-being » Slavjansk civil populace describe what happenned Slavjansk civilian public have been deeply traumatised by the so-called «National Guard» (Nac.gvardia) and Ukraine Security Forces (the «SBU») militants as they speak of the chaos reined by the latter two groups sent by the junta : dead bodies of civilians, burned vehicles, bullet marks on remnants of houses, shops and along public transportation routes.

"They were passing in a row of 3 BTRs (heavily armored military vehicles, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BTR-3),

so close to the edges of the road that the road edges are nearly destroyed now as you can see.

After that row of heavily armored vehicles there followed infantry troops.

The heavily armored vehicles were shooting non-stop like crazy.

did they make attempts to spare children, the elderly etc. ?

no, you can see burned vehicles and totally shot through houses.

how many of common folk were around in this place when the military were shooting ?

well, initially there were 15-20 guys standing, then as the shooting began, the house owners moved to offer cover and protection for those guys, invited them inside their homes.. guys tried lying down under windows

that way they were hoping to escape bullets ?

well, yeah, since bullets are not all guided all the time, while you know, their range goes up to 2 000 meters

was there any warning, any talk before the shooting started ? did the military not see that in front of them are non-militant common folks ?

well, i can say that we were coming from Seleznjovka side, and then just started hearing high-pitched sounds. we turned our heads and saw rockets, as soon as the yellow one fell down - the machine guns started to make their noise..

initially it was possible to see clearly that large-caliber weapons were shooting, it could have been autocannons or heavy machine guns,

and then later all sorts of weapons were shooting everywhere...

the road is full of traces of the shootouts..

from what i hear, the military did not care who they shoot as they attacked

well, yeah... what can i say... the defenders came unexpectedly - they really did not expect any attack so there was no regular defense, no

they just came down to buy drinks, maybe 10-15 people, and they called up

a couple of BDMs (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMD-2) from Malinovka,

and that's how they succeeded to defend against the attack... the attackers were taken aback.

what about the defenders' BTR - are those unharmed ?

well, i don't know - i can only speak for what i saw, and the rest - i was struggling to keep my own pants intact...

check out this large house with a garage - one of the owners started filming video as soon as we heard BTRs coming.

they were shooting everything everywhere, left and right...

they did not let anybody pass, and they had the "SBU" (Ukraine Security Agency / Ukranian KGB) designation painted on their backs.

they were speaking Russian by the way, they were dressed in black uniform, and their backs had "SBU" letters.

some girls asked them : "what are you guys doing shooting people here ?"

the guys answered : " we are here to protect you "

shooting went on non-stop for 2 hours.

the broadway was (probably still is) filled to brim with shells although children tried to carry shells to recycling facilities for some pocket money.

yeah.. it was horrorful here yesterday..

these guys don't see God coming to punish their attitude

as for how we feel : give us some weapons too - we now experienced attacks by military on our own houses...

 

considering that those politicians shout everywhere about free choice, people's rights and democracy, why do those politicians disagree to a referendum ?

what are they afraid of ?

 

yeah, let the population speak out, have citizens vote openly, honestly, have their voices heard for complete clarity and fairness.

and then about 20 minutes into the shootout, extra units came from opposite side

that means, the military attacked from 2 sides to eliminate chances ... ?

yeah, they got them tight and kept on frying..

later on in the evening a helicopter was downed

airforce has been up for 8 hours...
