51 Ukrainian airmobile brigade encircled near Slavyansk

51 airmobile brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was encircled in the suburbs of Slavyansk.

According to relatives of the soldiers, they are surrounded and all communication has been cut off. One of them, Alice, has told about it during a TV show «Black mirror"as her husband’s brother, Ilya Kravets is serving in the brigade and the last time they heard from him was last Friday evening.

«They abandoned us. Our headquarters do not reply. The commanders told us to save ourselves if we can and stopped all communications. We won’t survive till morning." Illya spoke from Slavyanks suburbs.

All army checkpoints except one were abandoned, as the soldiers deserted their service locations. The command was taken over by a 25 year old lieutenant with zero experience. «At least those who are gone left their armor vests, it is a big thing as before 3 soldiers would share only one vest. I tried calling the ATO secretary but no reply. They just ignore this information," Alice was saying.
According to her, it’s been several hours that the phone of Ilya Kravtsov has been out of reach.
