Representatives of Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics have signed a document declaring a union of the two Republics
Representatives of Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics have signed a document declaring a union of the two Republics. The declaration was signed by the head of Lugansk Republic Alexey Karyakin and PM of Donetsk Republic Alexander Borodai. The treaty is deemed to be open for other territorial units.
«We do not recognize the authority of President and Parliament of Ukraine. Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics are independent states. This is my position, " said Pavel Gubarev.
«Hence, our recognition of a newly elected President and government of Ukraine depends solely on how they reciprocate to our demands. They have to recognize us as independent states. Secondly, the government and President must immediately withdraw Ukrainian troops, leave our territory and stop all military actions," the leader of the Novorossiya party added.
