A number of polling stations located in the premises of educational institutions in Nikolaev suspended their work after bomb threats (news by NikVesti). At the moment there are two confirmed cases, in the schools № 19 and № 26. Voters and committee members are evacuated.

There is also unconfirmed information about bomb calls in schools № 10 and № 26. Police and acting Mayor of Nikolayev have arrived at the polling station.

So far, there have been only 2 confirmed bomb threats and after a thorough check stations re-opened for polling at 10:40 local time. Alongside with the presidential election citizens of Nikolayev are supposed to vote for a new Mayor of the city. There are 29 candidates running for the post.
