Details of Ukrainian fire attack at checkpoint "Dolzhansky"

Fighting began at 18:40 MSK near Ukrainian checkpoint «Dolzhansky». It was a clash between Resistance fighters who carried out border control, and Ukrainian aggressors. Mortar fire by Ukrainians damaged buildings and engineering constructions and left one of the officers of the Russian customs injured.

Local witnesses report that Ukrainians first opened sniper fire which forced people to flee through the forests, breaking the border, then artillery fire began. Rockets were falling within 30 meters from the refugee tent camp. For now two victims have been confirmed: a refugee woman from refugees and a Russian customs and immigration officer who sustained head injury.
