After they were said that their unit would be sent to fight for Ilovaysk in the Donbass region 52 people from the special police battalion "Peacekeeper" in Kyev have written transfer or dismissal reports.

As the head of the Department for organization of the activities of the special police Mr. Victor Celofan said::

- Some people wanted to leave the police service, some wished to go to other departments. Everyone wishing to resign will be dismissed. No prosecution for desertion waites them. They came voluntarily and can use their right to leave. The question of the transfer to other bodies will be considered. I want to say that three people have good reasons due to injuries.

So now "Peacekeeper" has 150 people left on duty.

In recent months the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine has created 30 battalions of "territorial defence" from "volunteers". 25 of them are in the Donbass region taking part in the war with their own people who don't want to live under Fascist rule.
