After the Storm: Donetsk Airport (VIDEO)

Donetsk airport named after Sergey Prokofiev, composer born in Donbass, was significantly upgraded before EURO-2012 football championship.

The landing strip was totally remade to match the highest world's standards, there was also a new terminal built and equipped with the most modern facilities not worse than at any of the European airports.

After EURO-2012 was over the airport was fully loaded all the time partially because Donetsk was one of the Ukrainian business capitals and partially because such modernization was required long before and eagerly awaited for. 

The new airport created hundreds of workplaces and became another reason for pride for every citizen of Donetsk.
