Zakharchenko: Kiev preparing ecological terrorist attacks in Donbass | Русская весна

DPR Head Aleksander Zakhatchenko claims that Ukraine may easily make an attack which will affect not only the territory of the republics, but also lands controlled by Kiev.

Alexander Zakharchenko said that he insisted on inspections by DPR environmental specialists at the enterprises of Donbass, which are on the other side of the front line.

"Because Kiev cannot cope with us with the help of direct military aggression, we reasonably assume that the criminal regime is considering other methods of causing our republic catastrophic damage. And one of such ways is ecological acts of terrorism. We have information that such issues are being considered in Kiev," explained Alexander Zakharchenko.

According to the DPR Head, Kiev can plan and implement a technogenic catastrophe, as a result of which huge territories of Donbass may prove to be unsuitable for life.

"I mentioned the Konstantinovka Chemical Plant. Stocks of sulfuric and hydrochloric acid plus an overfull sludge accumulator at the plant, in respect of which bankruptcy proceedings have been initiated, may become a material for an environmental terrorist attack. Especially if environmentalists-terrorists in the service of the criminal Kiev regime consider the spread of air and groundwater pollution so that the damage will be inflicted mainly on our territories," Zakharchenko added.

He also noted that Kiev with high probability would not think about the consequences of destructive actions.

'Huge territories are under attack, but what is the difference for Kiev? If the residents of Donbass perish, or if they are forced to leave their homes on the other side of the front line, Kiev will not be upset either. We are all enemies for them, and Kiev is ready to implement the "scorched earth" strategy in relation to the entire Donbass," the Head of the DPR concluded.

We recall that these days in Donetsk is holding an environmental forum dedicated to problems and risks to the environment associated with the hostilities. The famous scientist, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Mikhail Zalikhanov, is taking part in the conference.
