LifeNews’ Reporters are Held Captive in Handcuffs

There are proves of LifeNews’ reporters capturing by the Ukrainian militaries in the social networks. You could see reporters with bonded hands on the photo. There are militaries on the background. A place likens a military unit. Local residents recognized the Kramatorsk military airfield.

Reporters have not been allowed to connect to their families and their editorial staff for couple hours. Oleg and Marat had been detained at 18th of the May at 13:30 Moscow time during executing their editorial job on coverage events on the South and East of the Ukraine. Reporters had been missed near Kramatorsk. They connected to the editorial staff from a roadblock in the suburbs.

Oleg Sidyakin had time to send a SMS message about their some troubles. Oleg had received a call from the colleges and had pressed the call button so they could hear him been interrogated.

A local residents connected to the editorial staff saying that he had seen reporters been escorted by militaries in uniform without any identification marks. He suggested them as Ukrainian National Guard hitmen.

Later the Maidan activist Dmitriy Tymchuk confirmed the reporters capturing by the Ukrainian militaries near Kramatorsk.

It’s not the first time when LifeNews’ reporters are detained in Ukraine. Yulia Shustraya and Mikhail Pudovkin had been coarsely detained in Donetsk by the Ukrainian Security Service and had deported from the country at the 25th of the April.

A week before, LifeNews’ reporters Kristina Babayeva and Maria Povalyaeva had been detained by the Ukrainian policemen while their editorial job. The reporters had been held on for 18 hours for interrogating.
