Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine: Maidan saw murders, robberies and drug production
The Independence Square in central Kiev had 158 crimes committed since end of February, stated Prosecutor General of Ukraine Vitaly Yarema.
According to him, during this time the following crimes were recorded: four citizens suffered infliction of bodily harm leading to death, more than 14 armed robbery assaults, 73 burglaries, 18 cases of bodily injury took place.
«Also, there are cases of misappropriation of vehicles, fraud, drug manufacturing, illegal handling of firearms," said the prosecutor general. In this regard, Yarema demands all activists immediately vacate the administrative buildings in the center of Kiev.
We are reminding our readers, that a shootout occurred on Monday night at the Maidan, and four people were injured. Yarema in his Wednesday speech did not rule out the option of forceful dispersal of Euromaidan participants in Kiev downtown.
Notable, that among those radicals who still riot, clashed with police and attack government buildings, were often seen soldiers of battalions «Donbass», «Dnepr» and «Idar».
