BREAKING: Alexander Zakharchenko wounded

Head of Donetsk Republic Alexander Zakharchenko got bullet wound in combat actions in Debaltsevo downtown.

Zakharchenko was crossing one of the central streets during heavy small arms fire when he was wounded in the ankle. His guards gave him first aid and applied tourniquet to his leg. Then Zakharchenko had ben taken to the nearest hospital and after that he was transported to Alchevsk.

Donetsk Republic leader got minor wound of an ankle during combat and cleaning operation in the town of Debaltsevo, now he is staying at one of Lugansk Republic hospitals, there is no threat to his health and life - said politician's personal assistant. According to him Zakharchenko was taken to Alchevsk - town of Lugansk Republic - and then admitted to hospital.
