Cyclists and pedestrians only are allowed at Ukrainian checkpoint around Lugansk Republic

Blockade set by Kiev authorities May 13 against Lugank Republic came in full force in the morning May 14 also at the borderline between Ukraine and Donetsk Republic.

The Ukrainian military stopped to pass any kind of vehicles except for bicycles at Georgiyevka village checkpoint located on highway between Maryinka and Kurakhovo. Pedestrians are also allowed.

Keeping in mind that quite a lot of medcines and foodstuff are lacking at Lugansk and Donetsk Republics' stored and pharmacies one cannot carry a lot in a backpack on a bike. So Kiev interprets Minsk peace accords in its own way and the blockade is generally tightens.

Bus service between Donetsk and Mariupol is also interrupted.
