October 7, 2015 will go down in history as the day of the final removal of the US from the Olympus.

Massive strikes by cruise missiles «Calibre» put an end to American hegemony in world politics.

Over the past year and a half, the United has slowly lost one position after another. First came the «hybrid» operation in the Crimea, where US and NATO intelligence failed to detect the transfer of Russian troops to the peninsula in time. Even the very beginning of the Russian operation in Crimea was totally overlooked. The result of the hybrid operation of the Russian army can be evaluated as «excellent».

Air Force operations abroad were the next challenge. With the first strikes on the terrorists in Syria, Russia, as some witty analysts stated, finally joined the club of «developed Western democracies», because before the right use air power undisputedly belonged only to the West. Once again, the CIA and the Pentagon failed to figure out what were Russians actually doing in Syria until the official Russian announcement.

Launch of 26 cruise «Calibre» missiles was the last nail in the coffin of the American intelligence community. To overlook a massive missile attack is too much.
Moreover, some US military experts openly admitted that the Pentagon did not have a clue about Russian capability to launch cruise missiles at such distances.

In fact, during the last several years Russian Army caught up with the «partners» in all key areas, including the development and use of UAV except for the weaponized drones. The progress is demonstrated clearly every day at the briefings in the Russian Defense Ministry.

Knowing the structure of American bureaucracy, it is safe to say that changes are coming in the Pentagon. Someone will have to take responsibility for failure. Recognizing this, the US military is taking efforts to discredit the Russian operation in Syria.

Poor stories about «civilian casualties» of Russian air strikes had no positive result. Therefore, the tactics has changed. First it was stated that part of «Caliber» missiles fell in Iran. But bad luck again: the Iranian authorities denied these claims, though they could demand financial compensation in case the American information proved to be true.

But Pentagon information soldiers do not surrender. Now, it turns out, the missiles reached Syria without striking ISIS infrastructure. But video footage from drones and satellite images confirm — Russian strike was accurate.

It is quite possible that tomorrow influential CNN channel will hold an investigation and inform the world that the missile strikes were actually not even taken, and video footages of Russian Defense Ministry are fake. Maybe it will calm down those Americans who are accustomed to go to bed and wake up in the «strongest and greatest country in the world», especially if they don’t bother to search for truth - like Russians do.

Claims from the West in this case do not mean much to Russia. It is impossible to take down an air missile verbally. We know what we are capable to do, and clearly showed it to others. Those who were supposed to receive «Calibre message», received and read it without any doubt.

It is good to know that we woke up in another world on October 7th, and this time the difference is made by Russia.
