Hollywood has got nothing on the British filming propaganda for Syrian fighters (VIDEO)
«Russian Spring» goes on revealing secret support lent by the British government to Islamists factions fighting in Syria.
It is to be recalled that the reason for investigation was the article in The Guardian. In the beginning ofMay a group of authors published the article revealing London’s true intentions regarding Syria.
It turned out later that the British politicians had secret relations with Bashar al-Assad’s rivals back in 2012 when British Intelligence services had lent support to anti-governmental forces in Syrian Aleppo province.
Our today’s article will be devoted to analysis of special middleman organzations’ activity through which Britain’s government arranges cooperation with Syrian “moderate fighters”.
The Guardian’s journalists in their article published in the beginning of May lay special emphasis onto two organizations among other institutions and propaganda mechanisms created by the British government. Both have misterious names “Conflict and Stability Fund” and “Innovative Communications & Strategies”, InCoStrat).
Article authors are sure the organizations to be a part of well established mechanism of informational and financial from British government to the Syrian oppositon.
Through its Conflict and Stability Fund the government is spending £2.4m on private contractors working from Istanbul to deliver «strategic communications and media operations support to the Syrian moderate armed opposition”.
Such “private contractors’” (i.e. journalists’) activity is controlled by Ministry of Defence. MoD is preparing photo- and videodocuments, various research opinions and military analytic reports, prepublishing preparation of articles and maintaining various blogs and social media accounts.
It is enough just to superficialize these materials to learn that they are being published on behalf of fighter factions’ participants (even leaders) and contain no mentions whatsoever to specialists hired by the British government.
Since November 2014 the aforementioned “Innovative Communications & Strategies” has been busy with one of such contracts.
This company was established by an ex-officer of the British Army who has been occupying strategic communications specialist’s poisition at MoD for quite a long time.
Ex-officer’s name isn’t mentioned in the article but scope of his duties on that position raises no doubts — the whole area of the so alled “strategic communicatons” at British MoD falls under military intelligenc’s competence and is National Security information protected by law.
Wide audience knows not so much about InCoStrat’s activity. However this activity deserves the closest attention given the information support provided by the British governement to the Syrian armed opposition.
InCoStrat PR experts prepare dozens of documents daily. All of the documents’ contents comes down mostly to military propaganda aimed at moulding public opinion both inside and outside Syria and.
There are reports on successful military operations, videos telling about «moderate opposition’s humanitarian activity» — it’s enough to watch on YouTube a footage of opposition fighters distributing foodstuff among the civilians in need who thank the ‘well-doers’ for the camera.
InCoStrat experts make and spread military videos showing man-portable air defense missiles downing Syrian governmental aircrafts, anti-tank missles hitting Assad’s army tanks etc. All of this should prove that the so called amed moderate opposition forces are well equipped, trained and fight against much hated (by the West also) Syrian governmental forces efficiently.

It is known that InCoStrat was established to support Syrian anti-governmental fcations in 2013 and funded by the British government.
Generous funding allowed to involve various specialists — economists, sociologists, military experts and doctors.
IT-experts created a whole range of applications and supporting programs for distribution of information through not only computers but also mobile phones.
Even the first stage of this acitivity brought substancial results — InCoStrat’s information products created an illusion of Syrian people’s discontent with acting governement’s policy.
As an example well-known French journalist and public person Thierry Meyssan points out the fact that «InCoStrat in connection with British Armed Forces’s special detachment punches up the most serious armed group “Islamic Army” (Jaysh al-Islam*) supplied with armoured vehicles by Saudi Arabia via Jordan.
Military uniform produced in Spain is being delivered to jihadists at commissioning arrangements.
All these events are filmed and the image created by those videos says that the opposition is a regular military establishmen able to fight Syrian Arab Army.
Just like that the opinion of ongoing civil war in the country is being inflicted though there are just several hundreds faces appearing on those videos, most of them are foreign citizens.
As we clearly see strategy and tactics of Western informational war haven’t much changed over the years since the Cold War — it still stands upon the principle «the more hideous is the lie the sooner people will believe it».
This is true indeed. Substancial changes touched only media’s scope and coverage, possibility of information (including fake one) spreading through enormous audience via Internet.
Within hours any hoax containing sensational informaion goes viral allover the world. Spreading speed and final coverage will increase in sync with level of published information’s blatancy. However quite a few care enough to verify truthfulness of the news spreading at a speef of light via likes and reposts.
So it ends up thosands of readers paying their attention to the “news” about Assad’s army supposedly deliberately shell kindergartens, schools and hospitals killing hundreds of civilians. As well as the “news” about "destroyed” Russian airbase will draw everyone’s attention.
Spectacular videos created by the British specialists for the Syrian fighters will create a semblance of powerful armed forces resisting Syrian Army.
Infornational war and social conscience manipulation have become the main trend of XXI century. The only weapon which could be used not to lose this war is critical perception of any media products (first of all Western media), search for another opinion and ability to think for yourself and to assess what is heppenng in the world.
